Shai-Osudoku MP grabs Feminine Ghana Achievement Award

Member of Parliament (MP) for Shai-Osudoku Constituency, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo grabbed an award at this year’s Seventh Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards over the weekend.

The MP was was awarded for her outstanding contribution towards women empowerment through her position as a legislator.

Among her category is the South African High Commissioner,H.E Janet Grace Mason, Columbia Ambassador, HE Claudia Tur-Bay Quintero; Prof (Mrs) Goski Alabi,President of The Laweh University College; Dr. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, Senoir Lecturer and founding member of the Department of Biomedical Engineering,UG (NSMQ fame) and Nana Serwaa Bonso,Queenmother of Kaye‐Ofinso in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking to the media, Madam Ocloo dedicated the award  to the people of Shai-Osudoku and women especially.

The MP who was elated for the recognition also pledged to continue to empower women in and outside her constituency to foster development in the country.

The event which came off at the Marriot Hotel, Accra Airport-City, on Friday, May 28, 2021 saw over one hundred (100) influential public and private organisations and top dignitaries participating.

MD for Zoomlion Ghana Limited, Mrs Gloria Opoku Anti was also awarded with the Most Outstanding Female in Waste Management in the country.
