Ghanaian trio, Shatta Wale, MzVee and Kidi are hoisting the flag of Ghana high with their music.
The three musicians have been spotted on a Times Square billboard in New York.
The Billboard displayed the three artiste with the caption, ‘faces of afrobeat’
It is good to know that they are not only established names in Ghana but hustling it out beyond the borders.
Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is a Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist. He is known by his stage name Shatta Wale, formerly Bandana. His best-known single is “Dancehall King”, which led him to win the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, better known by her stage name MzVee, is a Ghanaian singer, afropop, dancehall and R&B artiste. Her debut solo album features several hit singles including ‘Borkor Borkor’, ‘Natural Girl’ and ‘Dancehall Queen’
Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi, is a Ghanaian high-life and afrobeats singer-songwriter producer. He is signed to Lynx Entertainment, MadeInENY, EMPIRE and is best known for his hit single ‘Ɔdɔ’. The remix features Nigerian superstars Mayorkun and Davido and has received massive airplay across Africa.
