Dep. Masloc CEO Afia Akoto Goes Hard On Sandra Ankobiah, Others for calling Nana Addo to help

The Deputy CEO of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre, popularly known as Masloc, Mrs. Alberta Afia Akoto Nixon, descended on Ghanaian celebrities calling on the President to talk.

The tragic and sad incident that occurred in Nigeria yesterday, involving the shooting of peaceful demonstrators, has led many to pay a great deal of attention to and stand by the nation in these times.

The President was called on by celebrities such as Sandra Ankobiah, Nana Aba Anamoah, A Plus, and many others to tell something about Nigeria’s current issues.

But Afia Akoto, deputy CEO of Masloc, seems to disagree with these celebrities and has schooled them in a social media post.

“I’ve seen a lot of celebrities posting and asking President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to say something,” she said. Let me ask these celebrities, ooo, please. It is via social media that problems of this sort are resolved, who told them. Or, as chairman of Ecowas, you want regular reports of what he is doing. And please, he’s the president of Ecowas, meaning he’s chairing “a body,” so he can’t make comments like he’s running a “one-man Facebook company,” wai … Politely, stop showing your ignorance here and shut up if you can’t add up. What you can do is to keep praying for the leaders of our brothers and sisters and ECOWAS to settle this quickly and not just at this time to pursue undue attention. Silence is golden indeed. Please tag or copy them.
