‘Stop inciting Supreme Court against our lawyers’ – NDC warns Oppong Nkrumah

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has cautioned former Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and his surrogates to halt all attempts to incite the Supreme Court against NDC Lawyers.

A Press Statement signed by Kakra Essamuah, NDC’s Communications Director, asked the NPP Legal Team to desist from  passing denigrating comments at the counsel representing former president John Mahama  in the ongoing Supreme Court hearing, where the NDC is challenging the outcome of the 2020 presidential elections.

According to the statement issued on February 18th, the NPP legal team, particularly led by Mr Oppong Nkrumah has been using the podium offered by the media to attack the counsel representing HE John Dramani Mahama.

Essamuah stated that “These attacks are characterized by constantly offering misleading comments about lawyers and the case in court.”

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is Information Minister-designate.

He added the conduct of Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Henry Nana Boakye is considered by the NDC as “unbecoming of professional colleagues who have sworn to –protect the ethics of their respected profession over and above partisan considerations.”
