Renowned Ghanaian Music Producer, Fred Kyei Mensah popularly known as Fredyma has said COVID 19 has affected those in the Creative art industry the most.
Fredy raised this comment when asked a question on the 5 per cent tax relief to the Creative sector on Power FM’s Entertainment show hosted by Agyemang Prempeh.
According to the music producer, their work needs a congregation of people and COVID also doesn’t allow which is a huge blow to the industry. There is still lockdown in some countries which had caused the closure of beaches and pubs, cinema and night clubs thereby affecting their operation.
He said “the President have people around who gives him advice and when the COVID came into existence they said it thrives in a cold area and the cinema is one of the cold places which also contains more people so if it is open the disease will spread and as you can see for the Creative sector has suffered.
