CEO of Burniton group, Livingstone Etse Satekla known in showbiz as Stonebwoy has stated that artistes and creatives are tired of the lame excuses of Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHARMRO).
This comes in the middle of GHAMRO repeating the same old excuses in taking royalties for musicians and creatives in the country and giving them a pittance.
According to the dancehall artiste the organization needs to step up their game and be productive because they seem to always be talking than working for musician’s welfare.
The ‘’putuu’’ hit maker made this revelation on twitter while following proceedings at the music summit organized by Vodafone Ghana music awards.

It will be recalled that last week, Stonebwoy in an interview with Yfm called on the government to make the fulfillment of promises made to the creative arts industry in their manifesto a priority.
He opined that the government itself is witness to the fact that their manifestos are not being realized because if really they are being realized, then by now, we would have moved from solving one trouble to another.
According to him, the industry players are trying their best to convince the government to focus on them as well.
Although he said they have not been very successful at that, it has almost always been an individual struggle for them and the government still takes the credit for their hard work.
Stonebwoy, is a Ghanaian Afropop, dance hall and reggae singer. He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards.
