Firebrand broadcaster and host of ‘Asempa Yetia‘ on Power 97.9 FM, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has descended on the leaders of the country for upholding mediocrity.
He said leadership of Ghana over the past 30 years has been abysmal and not contributed to the Ghanaian dream.
“Over the last 39 years, we have had mediocre leaders parading as good leaders. The youth are tired of that leadership a d it must end,” he fumed on Power FM Wednesday night.
“These mediocrity must stop. We are tired of this primitive tactics. Our roads are bad and the leaders don’t care… If you can’t fix the roads give them to [Osei Kwame] Despite and his people to fix and put toll booths on them and take the ptoceeds, ” he added.
He also descended on President Nana Akufo-Addo for wasting the tax payers’ monies on needless travels in the country.
He said for the president to fuel about 50 SUVs to commission storm drains and lorry part at Anfoega in the Volta region.
“Stop these primitive tactics,” he said. “Nana Addo you have lowered the bar. How do you line up about 50 V8 land cruisers to go and commission mere gutters?”
He said the style of the Akufo-Addo government is uninspiring due to the “useless things they channel the tax payers’ monies to.”
The vociferous broadcaster’s infuriation comes after a video of President Akufo-Addo’s long convoy surfaced on social media when he was heading to the Volta Region.
