Ogbenze Foundation (OF) has fed and spread the Love of God to thousands of individuals especially street children in Accra, the capital of Ghana
About 1,000 people benefited from the act of benevolence which is said to have cost about GH¢ 50,000 and includes, the free provision food, drinks and many more.
Speaking to XYZ News’s Akora Kofi Darko, at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ogbenze Foundation Samuel Hassan Crabbe said, the purpose of this kind gesture is to show compassion to all.
According to him, the time has come for everyone to give to the society as a way of supporting in building of the nation together.
“Happy Easter to everyone. We are here to show great care. We are here to show that, God loves us all. We are here to put a smile on people’s faces. We are here to feed those on the streets of Accra who were wondering where they’ll get food to eat today, hence our mission here. We are here to see to it that people eat good food especially those on the streets of Accra” he said.
Samuel Hassan Crabb who said he was once a ‘’street boy’’ also added that the Ogbeze Foundation, an NGO he founded, will continue to support the less privilege and the vulnerable in the streets of Accra and beyond.
The NGO also organizes donation to widows as part of its commitment to supporting the less privileged on March 6th, 2025.
The feeding of thousands of street kids, including men and women in the month of April of every year under the theme “Feed the Street.”
He took the opportunity to call on philanthropists and all well-wishers to always do their best in supporting each other.
“I was led by the scripture of God to choose the streets such as Adabraka, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Zongo junction, Kaneshie first Light, Korle-Bu Traffic Light and other areas for such a wonderful initiative,’’ he concluded.
