We shall negotiate for land to build a multipurpose market – Mahama promises Kokompe artisans

Former President John Mahama has indicated the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration will revisit the proposed new site development for Spare parts dealers at Kokompe.

 

According to John Mahama the congestion at Kokompe which is impending the smooth running of their activities.

 

The new site according to John Mahama will be developed on an 80 acre land earmarked for the project at Anyaa.

 

Addressing spare parts dealers at Kokompe on Friday September 27,2024 as part of his phase 3 campaign tour of the Greater Accra region, the Flagbearer of the NDC assured that his next administration will be finalized by negotiating with the land owners when the NDC wins the December 7 polls and forms the next government.

 

“During the NDC era we earmarked an 80 acre land to develop it for your operations. I am aware the land has been encroached upon but we will develop it when we come” he assured

Mr Mahama said the new site will include schools, Heath centres and other social amenities

 

“It will include, Health Center,day care for the women to take their infants, a kindergarten to assimilate the children so you can be free to work” in indicated
