Deputy Ghana Post MD urges public patience as Mahama pushes reforms

Deputy Managing Director of Ghana Post, Stephen Kingsley Bennie Esq., has appealed to the public to remain patient and supportive as President John Dramani Mahama implements policies aimed at steering the country toward sustained progress.

Speaking on Accra-based Power FM and TV XYZ, Mr. Bennie commended the President’s leadership qualities, describing him as a leader with expertise, experience, humility and a strong work ethic capable of delivering the transformation Ghana needs.

He stressed that all policies outlined in the 2026 Budget Statement are well-structured and will be fully implemented to advance national development.

According to him, recent macroeconomic improvements, including a stable cedi and a sharp decline in inflation from 23.8% in December 2024 to 8% in October 2025, are clear indicators of effective governance under the current administration.

“These gains are a testament to good governance under the NDC government,” he said.

Mr. Bennie encouraged Ghanaians to keep faith with President Mahama as reforms advance.

“President Mahama has the expertise, experience, humility and hardworking spirit to administer this country,” he reiterated. “I urge Ghanaians to remain patient, pray for the President, and have confidence in him as he moves the country in the right direction.”
