President-Elect John Dramani Mahama has announced a six-member team to oversee and coordinate national security issues pending substantive appointments.
Former Minister for the Interior, Prosper Douglas Bani according to a statement will lead the team.
A statement signed by Special Aide, Felix Kwakye Ofosu on Friday, January 3,2025 said the mandate of the interim committee will begin on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Other members of the team include:
Lt. General Peter Augustine Blay (Rtd.), former Chief of Defence Staff
Kofi Totobi Quakyi, former Minister for National Security
Larry Gbevlo-Lartey Esq., former National Security Coordinator
Brigadier General Fuseini Iddrissu (Rtd.)
COP Nathaniel Kofi Boakye (Rtd.)
The President -Elect, John Dramani Mahama will be sworn in on Tuesday January 7,2025 at the black Star Square here in Accra
Meanwhile Co- Spokesperson on the Presidential Transition Team, Felix Kwakye Ofosu will address the media at the venue at 1:00PM tomorrow, Saturday January 4, 2025
