The Board of Directors of the Ghana National Gas Company, led by Chairman Hon. Kofi Totobi Quakyi, has inspected ongoing maintenance works at the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant on Sunday, 24th August 2025.
The plant, which was shut down on Saturday, 16th August 2025, is undergoing major maintenance, including some procedures being carried out for the first time since operations began 11 years ago.
During the visit, the Board expressed satisfaction with the progress of work on the ninth day of the scheduled 14-day exercise. Hon. Totobi Quakyi expressed optimism that operations would resume on time as planned.
He commended the technical team for their diligence and urged workers to continue safeguarding the facility, describing the Atuabo plant as a vital national asset.
