The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Gas Company Limited, Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, has held a stakeholder engagement meeting with Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) from project-affected areas in the Western Region.
The meeting, hosted in Takoradi, brought together Chief Executives and Coordinating Directors from Ellembelle, Prestea Huni-Valley, Nzema East, Shama, and Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly.
Discussions centered on strengthening collaboration between Ghana Gas and local authorities to promote sustainable community development.
Ms. Blay, who recently assumed leadership of Ghana Gas, highlighted the company’s renewed focus on its core mandate, stressing that active stakeholder engagement remains key to shaping the company’s vision and fostering mutual understanding.
She emphasized the need for stronger partnerships with local assemblies to ensure that host communities fully benefit from ongoing and future projects.
