Government moves to curb rising road accidents – Roads Minister

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza, has announced that government is taking urgent measures to address the recent surge in road crashes, including the fatal accident on the Akosombo–Tema Highway that claimed six lives.

Speaking at the 25th induction ceremony for new architects in Accra, the Minister expressed deep concern over the rising number of road incidents and assured that concrete steps are being taken to enhance road safety nationwide.

He further appealed to motorists to exercise caution and strictly observe traffic regulations to help curb the alarming rate of road accidents across the country.
