Industry leaders celebrated at 8th Ghana industry CEO awards

The Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre came alive on Thursday, November 27, 2025, as The Business Executive hosted the 8th edition of the Ghana Industry CEO Awards, an annual celebration of exceptional corporate leadership and innovation.

The black-tie ceremony attracted influential business executives from across Ghana, alongside high-profile guests including Labour Consultant Austin Gamey, development consultant Lesley Casely-Hayford, and Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba.

In his remarks, Mr. Gamey lauded the private sector’s resilience and its vital role in national development, emphasizing that visionary leadership is essential for industrial harmony and economic progress.

H.E. Kaisamba highlighted the significance of regional collaboration, describing the award-winning companies as “models of excellence” and expressing Sierra Leone’s interest in deepening economic ties and knowledge exchange with Ghana.

This year’s awards celebrated CEOs and companies excelling in leadership, innovation, and industry impact. Notable winners included Iconic Events (event planning), Cargill Ghana Limited (sustainable agriculture), Garden View Technologies (electronic security), Nature Solutions (waste management), Daniel Tech (IT), Ghana Publishing Company (publishing), Major Royal Venture (printing), Aquatic Foods (fish processing), South Akyim Rural Bank (rural banking), NABKA (trade association), SanlamAllianz (insurance), SCAB Pharmacy (e-pharmacy), Accord Industries Services (industry safety equipment), Digital Mogo Tech Solutions (digital marketing), EAP Consult (engineering consultancy), Primary Care Innovators (healthcare innovation), Tain District Hospital (transformational primary care), and Mind Snacks (snack foods).

Dr. Stephen Clark Bandoh of SCAB Pharmacy described the award as a testament to his team’s commitment to patient-centric healthcare, while Elizabeth Okoro of Mind Snacks said the honour strengthens their resolve to innovate and deliver quality products.

Beyond celebrating excellence, the event provided a platform for networking, fostering dialogue on leadership, innovation, and the future of Ghana’s private sector.
