Lambussie MP hails health minister Akandoh for transforming Ghana’s health sector

The Member of Parliament for Lambussie and Board Chairman of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Professor Dr. Titus Kofi Beyyo, has praised Ghana’s Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, describing him as an “indefatigable leader” driving an impressive transformation of the country’s health sector.

Speaking in an interview with NK Obrempong on Dwaboase on Power 97.9 FM and TV XYZ on Monday, November 24, Prof. Beyyo said the minister’s performance since assuming office has distinguished him from his predecessors.

According to him, Mr. Akandoh is playing a pivotal role in advancing President John Mahama’s Reset Agenda through strategic reforms and a renewed commitment to improving healthcare delivery nationwide.

“Even though Ghanaians have had many people serve this country as health ministers over the years, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has been truly outstanding since assuming his post,” Prof. Beyyo stated.

“The minister is championing President Mahama’s Reset Agenda by transforming the health sector, and for that reason, he needs the full support of Ghanaians.”

He added that the ongoing reforms under the ministry were already yielding encouraging results and expressed confidence that continued support would accelerate progress in the sector.

Prof. Beyyo called on the public to rally behind the minister as the government works to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, enhance service delivery, and address long-standing challenges within the system.
