Presidential staffer Nana Yaa Jantuah urges ILAPI to strengthen support to public sector

Senior Presidential Staffer Nana Yaa Jantuah has urged the Institute for Liberty and Policy Innovation (ILAPI) to deepen its contribution to the public sector, especially in enhancing the work of the Public Accounts Committee.

She made the call during her keynote address at the High-Level Business Regulatory Dialogue held at the Coconut Grove Hotel.

According to her, many public sector institutions remain difficult for individuals and businesses to engage with directly, a situation that drives many people to rely on middlemen.

She therefore appealed to public institutions to become more accessible and responsive to the needs of Ghanaians.

Nana Yaa Jantuah also highlighted ongoing efforts to ensure that the implementation of the 24-hour economy is properly structured.

She revealed that the relevant documents are already before Parliament and assured that President John Dramani Mahama’s vision for the policy will begin to materialize soon.
