Hon. Dickon Mitchell is expected to arrive in Accra on Thursday, 16 October 2025, at 4:00 p.m., for a two-day official visit.

He will be accompanied by Grenada’s Chief of Staff, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development, as well as other senior government officials.

The delegation will take part in the inaugural Ghana–Grenada Political Consultation Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shortly after the Prime Minister’s arrival on Thursday.

Prime Minister Mitchell is also scheduled to visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park before departing the country later on Friday.

Grenada is a volcanic island country in the Caribbean, located in the West Indies, with St. George’s as its capital.

The island experiences two main seasons and is known for its lush rainforests, fertile lands, mountains, and beautiful beaches that make it a popular tourist destination.

In 2024, Ghana and Grenada signed bilateral agreements on visa waivers and cooperation in the areas of culture, trade, and education.
