[VIDEO] Community self-support: Denkyira Nyinawusu Hene commissions ultra-modern toilet facilities to improve sanitation.

In order to end open defecation and ensure proper sanitation in Denkyira Nyinawusu, Nana Baffour Awuah II, Denkyira Nyinawusu Hene, has commissioned 38 ultra-modern new W/C toilet facilities in the Upper Denkyira West District of the central region.

The facilities include 38 new toilet facilities, 7 bathrooms, and 5 urinals, aimed at ending open defecation and improving sanitation.

Speaking to Mohammed Radiu Dinn Rasko, on behalf of the chief, Nana Kofi Amofah, Denkyira Nyinawusu Gyaase Hene, said this initiative is part of a broader commitment to addressing the pressing needs of the community.

He emphasized the need for the community to construct sanitation facilities to address these challenges.

He said the absence of toilet and other sanitation facilities has caused open defecation in the area, posing serious public health hazards and concerns.

According to him, this initiative aims to significantly improve hygiene and sanitation in the community, which has long struggled with access to proper toilet infrastructure.

He urged the residents to take good care of the facilities and ensure they are kept clean and functional at all times.

The chief has also outlined several projects intended for the community, including water, market, school, and guest house projects.

This development is expected to bring relief to residents and improve the overall quality of life in Denkyira Nyinawusu.

Meanwhile, Nana Kwadaapem, Manso Adubea Gyaase Hene, also urged residents of Denkyira Nyinawusu to support their chief, Nana Baffour Awuah II, in his quest for development.

He emphasized the need for unity among the residents to rally behind the chief and put away division.

According to Nana Kwadaapem, collective support will enable the chief to effectively drive development initiatives in the community.

He encouraged residents to put aside their differences and work together towards a common goal of progress and prosperity.
