Flag Bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has rejected the apology of the Finance Minister, Dr Amin Adam for the mess the New President Party, (NPP) administration has plunged Ghanaians into.
According to Mr. Mahama, the only thing Ghanaians need now is to vote against the current NPP administration in the December polls to guarantee their future
His reactions follows an open apology by Dr. Amin Adam at a town hall meeting in Accra on Tuesday, August 6,2024, that it was never government’s intention to impose hardship on Ghanaians.
Addressing the Chiefs and people of Asogli State during his campaign tour of the Volta region John Mahama said , Ghanaians don’t need any apology but solutions to the difficulties they are facing.
“This Finance Minister they brought just yesterday, he is not part of those who have put us where we are. It is not his apology we want. Those who my apologize are Nana Akufo Addo, Dr. Mahmud Bawumia and Ken Ofori-Attah. Let the three masterminds come and apologise so Amin Adam, your apology is rejected” he said.
He added ‘even whatever apology they give, Ghanaians must send them back into opposition.
