Ghana Olympic committee president: “we’re just as good as Jamaica”

GOC president Ben Nunoo Mensah is rallying support for local athletes, declaring how good Ghanaian athletes are in an on-phone interview.

“Ghanaian athletes are as good as Jamaican athletes.”

He also pushed for greater investment in boxing, noting:
“Boxing has the potential to earn us at least 3 Olympic medals.”
