He was accompanied by leaders of the market women association, stakeholders, and some affected traders.
The report outlines the findings of the assessment team, the extent of damage, and proposed steps for recovery and preventive measures.
The MCE assured the victims of the Assembly’s commitment to supporting them through the rebuilding process while working with relevant agencies to enhance fire safety within the market.
He further emphasized that the Assembly will intensify community sensitization and strengthen collaboration with emergency services to prevent similar incidents in the future.
