Ghana’s Vice President hosts Colombian Vice President for bilateral talks

Ghana’s Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, today welcomed the Vice President of Colombia, H.E. Francia Elena Márquez Mina, to the Jubilee House for high-level bilateral engagements aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two nations.

The visit began with a closed-door meeting between the two leaders, after which they were expected to join their respective delegations for broader discussions in the Credentials Room.

According to the Office of the Vice President, the talks will focus on deepening Ghana–Colombia relations, with emphasis on trade, investment, technology, and development cooperation.

Both countries will also explore new opportunities for South–South collaboration and shared economic progress.

The meeting underscores the commitment of Ghana and Colombia to expanding economic partnerships, promoting inclusive development, and further strengthening diplomatic ties.
