This morning, the Member of Parliament for Kintampo North, Hon. Joseph Kwame Kumah together with his constituency executives on their way to Benkrom for thank you tour met fresh accident scene between the Atta Akura and Dawadawa No 1 stretch of the Tamale Road involving 2 Kia Rhino vehicles.
One loaded Yams, and the other charcoal.
Interacting with the drivers and eyewitnesses, they indicated the yam truck in the dawn ran into a manhole on the middle of the road vied off the road and fell destroying all the yams.
The charcoal truck also ran into the same manhole and crashed on the road this morning.
The good news is that no casualties were recorded.
The Hon. MP wishes to use this opportunity to appeal to the Hon Minister of Roads to pay immediate attention to the potholes and manholes on our highway to prevent similar incidents.
