Flag Bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama will later this evening wrap up his campaign tour in the Upper East Region.
The campaign, which has largely been successful involved community engagements, meetings with traditional and religious leaders as well as market women on his policy proposals to transform the economy.
Mr. Mahama who is accompanied by Campaign manager, professor Joshua Alabi, Former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, Special Aide and 2024 Campaign spokesperson Joyce Bawa Mogtari has been explaining the opportunities that come with the 24- hr Economy policy, Women Development Bank, Farmers Service Centers which shall provide easy access to implements, seedlings and other support services on credit, processing factories at strategic locations to guarantee ready market, including seeedlings and other inputs to boost food production.
The tour which has taken him to 12 of the 15 constituencies in Upper East also offered him the opportunity to hear from opinion leaders their expectations and promised to complete abandoned projects.
He is expected to wrap up this evening Tuesday August 6, 2024 in the Bolgatanga Centeal Constiruency where he is expected to address a durbar Ramsey Sport Stadium in Bolga Central.
Earlier in tbe day he will hold similar engagements in tbe Builsa North and Builsa South constituencies.
