The Ghana Police Service says calm has been restored in Sampa, Bono Region, after violent chieftaincy clashes on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, left one person dead and several others injured.
In a statement, the Police said reinforcement teams have been deployed to the town to strengthen security and prevent further disturbances. Patrols have also been intensified in Sampa and surrounding communities.
The Police assured residents that order has been restored and that measures are in place to safeguard lives and property.
