Flag Bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has descended heavily on President Akufo Addo and defenders of the ‘Agyapadie’ document for describing it as a mere fabrication.
According to the former President, the ‘state capture’ agenda is in full gear and the public has known this since 2017, when Nana Akufo Addo assumed office as President
It can only be strange that after plundering state resources and when the lid has been blown off, the same people will turn round to play innocence.
“How can President Akufo Addo and his cousin Gabby Asare Okyere Darkoh, the Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, convince anyone the document is fake when every thing in there reflectsl their ‘evil’ plans against the country.?” – Mr Mahama quizzed
He continued – “recently there was an issue about a document called ‘Agyapadie’ they said it is fabricated. Assuming it is, so how come the implementation is not fabricated because everything that is written in that document has been implemented. So if really somebody sat and fabricated that document then the person can really read the minds of Akufo Addo, his family members and cronies his appointees? This can only be strange and that person can only be a proper creative writer” he mocked.
He cited the collapse of indigenous banks and other financial institutions, the botched sale of SSNIT Hotels, stealing of state lands among others.
John Mahana who was addressing a mini durbar at the Bawku Naba’s palace added – Upper East Region, John Mahama called on the defenders of the document to reconsider their decision.
He added – “ no right thinking person will deny the current turn of events.”
Mr Mahama however assured that the next NDC if he wins, will not hesitate to hold those who have wrecked havoc on the nation accountable.
