This budget reflects a government that honors its promises – Majority Leader

The Majority Leader, Mahama Ayariga, has commended the 2025 Budget, describing it as a clear reflection of the Mahama administration’s dedication to delivering on its promises.

Speaking after Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson presented the budget to Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, Mr. Ayariga highlighted that it brings hope to ordinary Ghanaians while introducing key economic reforms.

“This budget is a testament to a government and party that honor their commitments. Nearly every pledge made by the Mahama administration has been fulfilled within just 120 days,” he stated.

He further stressed that the budget prioritizes essential sectors, ensuring direct benefits for market traders, assembly members, students, and the general public.

“This budget serves Makola market women, assembly members, young girls, and schoolchildren. It delivers meaningful reforms and drives economic progress. By the time its implementation is complete, the elephant will shrink—‘osono b3y3 ketekete,’” he added, referencing the opposition party’s elephant symbol.
