The Vice President of Ghana, H.E. Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, on September 29, 2025, paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The Vice President and the King of the Ashanti Kingdom held a closed-door meeting, where they discussed issues of national interest.
She was accompanied by her Chief of Staff, Alex Percival Segbefia; Presidential Staffer and Special Aide, Professor Theresah Ennin; Policy Adviser (Economic), Professor Sharif Mahmud Khalid; Press Secretary, Maame Ama Pratt; and other senior staff from her office.
The delegation was joined by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, and the Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Richard Boadi-Agyemang.
The visit formed part of the Vice President’s one-day working tour of the Ashanti Region, during which she inspected key market projects.
