XYZ BROADCASTING CONDEMNS UNSAVORY COMMENT AND APOLOGIZES TO FORMER
PRESIDENT JOHN AGYEKUM KUFUOR

XYZ Broadcasting Limited wishes to express its utmost regret and disappointment over an
unsavory comment made against former President, H.E John Agyekum Kufuor, by one of our guest panelists, Mr. Dela Edem, during a live program on TV XYZ.
The host Mr. Salifu Mugabe Maase, made multiple attempts to guide Mr. Edem to retract his insensitive statement, which eventually led to an emergency break in the program.
The panelist however admitted the inappropriateness of his remark and subsequently apologized.
We wish to use this opportunity to once again unequivocally condemn the statement,
regardless of the retraction and sincerely apologize to former president John Agyekum Kufuor, his family, and the general public for any distress caused.
