The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has slammed his opponent; Dr Mahamadu Bawumia for running away from responsibilities.
According to him, it always sounds funny when Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia blames Akufo Addo for all their mistakes but takes credit for others, when they sound good.
In response to a question about the budget, he responded that it is not his name on the budget but that of Akufo Addo. “Governance is about collective responsibility and he cannot run away” – he emphasized
” This is the first time I have a vice president running away from his president records. Government is a continuum and a collective and what we have in democratic governance is collective responsibility” he said
Addressing a mini durbar at Bonikope in the Sege Constiruency, Mr Mahama assure the people of committment to continue abandoned projects particularly roads
He also promised to ensure the dispute over salt mining is resolved to give equal opportunities to the ordinary citizens
In a brief welcome address, the Chief of the area commended John Mahama for his visit
No Presidential candidate has visited us let along to experience our plight except John Mahama. It only shows his passion to address our plight and we shall always acknowledge that he concluded.
