John Dramani Mahama, the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the upcoming December 7 elections must not just be seen as ordinary but should be a seen as a communal labour by all Ghanaians against the NPP.
According to the former President, this must be seen as a rescue mission that will place Ghana in the hands of trustworthy experienced hands that will rest Ghana, restore confidence in institutions for a better future.
John Mahama maintains even NPP stalwarts disappointed in the failed select few family and friends who have hijacked the party in government, are calling on him to win to work harder to send the NPP into opposition so they can reorganize their party.
“Indeed not all NPP members are happy with what is happening. Some of them have told me, John Mahama you have to win this election so that we can go into opposition and reorganize our party again” he affirmed.
“This election is a communal labour to reset Ghana. Even if you are disappointed as NPP member and you don’t want to vote, just vote for JM” he appealled
John Mahama who was addressing a mini durbar at Asamankase in the Lower West Akim Constituency of the Eastern Region on Monday, November 18,2024 also called on Ghanaians to police the ballot.
