NDC’s Adomako vows to stop Dakoa Newman’s alleged election rigging plot at Okaikwei Sth

Ernest Adomako, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Okaikwei South in the Greater Accra region has sent a strong warning to the MP for the area not to try to intimidate any voter on election day through her “hatchet men.”

Speaking on Dwaboase on TV XYZ, Adomako also known as Keon, said he has credible information that Madam Newman who also doubles as the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, has hired some men to create confusion in some polling stations to ward off voters on election day.

“I have hear all the plans of Dakoa, I have heard they are hiring some persons to come and cause chaos in some polling stations. Let them try and see, I control about 90% of the youth in Okaikwei South,” Adomako stated.

According to him, the MP in the last 4 years has neglected the people who voted for her, leaving them to struggle for water and other basic needs.

Adomako said the area has industries but the roads leading to some of the firms are in bad shape such that one would think the constituency has no leadership.

Ernest Adomako expressed concern over the deteriorating state of the roads in Avenor, noting that many drivers have abandoned the route due to its poor state although there are industries in the area where people commute to for their daily bread.

“I have made several attempts to repair the roads along the railway at Avenor, but each time, I was stopped by the police. They told me I did not have permit to fix the roads,” Adomako told host Kwame Minkah on TV XYZ.

“I even hired machines to work on the road, but the police came to stop me. I have video evidence to support this. I can give them to you so that you can play the videos for your audience to see.”

He said despite the frustration he went through, he is unfazed by the political tension, while assuring the constituents that “Whatever I pledged to do for the people when elected,  I have started doing them.”

He believes the current MP, Dakoa Newman has neglected the people of the area though her political party is in power.

“Okaikwei South has no leadership; for the past 28 years the people have not been represented well and within thatn period it is the NPP that has been in power,” he added.

He urged the people to vote against the MP and put him in charge to help the constituency see massive development.
