The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E John Mahama is on a peace-building visits to Bawku and Nalerigu.
President Mahama visits to the two towns today, Tuesday, 14th January 2025.
The President is determined to resolve the decades-old conflict in Bawku and will use the visit to engage the conflict factions and key stakeholders to promote dialogue to achieve lasting peace.
The President after the meetings will return to Accra later today, according to a statement from Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the acting Presidential Spokesperson.
Mr Mahama met all heads of the country’s security services ahead of his visit to the northern part of the country.
