ADB celebrates 60th anniversary with health walk to promote wellness and customer loyalty

As part of activities commemorating its 60th anniversary, the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has organised a health walk to promote wellness among staff and stakeholders, while reinforcing its enduring commitment to customer-centered service.

Speaking at the event, Managing Director Edward Ato Sarpong highlighted the dual significance of the health walk, encouraging healthy lifestyles and symbolising ADB’s renewed pledge to its clients.

“As we celebrate six decades of dedicated service, it is important to reflect on our journey and recommit ourselves to being a customer-centered institution,” Mr. Sarpong said. “The health walk is a reminder that our strength lies in the well-being of our people, staff, clients, and partners alike.”

Mr. Sarpong noted that the 60th anniversary offers an opportunity to celebrate ADB’s achievements and milestones, while also envisioning greater impact in Ghana’s agricultural transformation and financial services sector.

Participants comprising staff, clients, and well-wishers walked along selected routes in branded T-shirts and banners, themed around health, unity, and customer satisfaction.

The 60th anniversary is being celebrated under the theme:
“Our Journey, Your Growth Celebrating 60 Years of Customer-Centered Excellence.”
Planned events include community outreach programmes, customer appreciation days, and stakeholder engagements, all designed to strengthen ADB’s bond with the people it serves.
