Ghana National Gas Company has completed planned maintenance works ahead of schedule, handing the plant back to its operational unit earlier than expected.
The exercise, which was initially projected by the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition to last 14 days, was concluded in less time after the maintenance and technical team achieved key milestones.
Works carried out included servicing of the Heat Medium System, calibration of safety systems, and an overhaul of the transmission compressor.
Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, praised the team’s dedication and collaboration, noting that their efficiency made it possible to finish earlier than planned.
The plant is expected to stabilize and begin receiving its expected volumes of gas within the day.
