President John Dramani Mahama will host his first Presidential Media Encounter on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at The Presidency, beginning at 8:00 p.m.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Monday by Presidential Spokesperson and Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu. He explained that the engagement will allow the President to address the nation through the media and interact directly with journalists.
“The encounter will provide a unique platform for President Mahama to engage the Ghanaian people, through the media, on pressing national issues, his Resetting Ghana Agenda, policies, and ongoing projects,” Mr. Kwakye Ofosu stated.
“It will also offer journalists the opportunity to pose questions directly to the President on a wide range of subjects affecting the nation.”
He emphasized that participation will be restricted to accredited journalists, adding that The Presidency looks forward to a productive and engaging session.
