The GhanaMade Expo is set to become a weekly destination for those seeking authentic Ghanaian products, offering a vibrant and exciting market atmosphere every Saturday at the CSIR-Food Research Institute Compound, Shiashie, Accra.
The Expo is designed to bring together a diverse range of local SMEs, artisans, and emerging brands, providing a one-stop shopping experience for those eager to support Ghana-made goods.
Running every Saturday from 10:00 AM, the GhanaMade Expo offers shoppers the opportunity to discover and purchase a variety of products, from food and agro-products to wellness and beauty items, fashion, crafts, home essentials, and innovative products.
The Expo aims to serve not just locals, but also Ghanaians in the diaspora looking to connect with home, whether buying for events, gifting loved ones, or restocking shelves with quality Ghanaian-made products.
“This initiative is built for everyone: families looking for reliable, quality products, professionals seeking unique gifts, and visitors who want a convenient marketplace experience,” said Dr. Courage Komla Besah-Adanu, Lead Consultant at AGRIVIMS GHANA. “We want people to shop with confidence, meet the makers, see the quality for themselves, and take pride in choosing Ghana-made.”
Alongside the product showcases, the Expo features live demonstrations, tastings, and opportunities for direct conversations with producers.
Exhibiting businesses also receive practical support to enhance their presentation, packaging, and overall buyer experience.
The event is scheduled for every Saturday at 10:00 AM at the CSIR-Food Research Institute Compound, near the Ghana Standards Authority in Shiashie, Accra.
It is free for all consumers and buyers, offering a range of products including Ghana-made foods, agro-products, wellness and beauty items, fashion and textiles, crafts, home essentials, and innovative products.
