Our universities must collaborate, our businesses must find partners across the continent, and our young people must see opportunity beyond national borders” he said.
Dr. Debrah who was representing President John Dramani Mahama at the event, further stressed that at a time when Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital technology, climate pressures and changing patterns of trade are reshaping the world, African must take advantage of the changes for the good of its people.
“Africa cannot remain a spectator. We must help shape these changes and make them work for our people”. He stressed.
Touching on the core of the theme, Dr. Debrah charged the graduates to chart a pattern of the modern ages while building on the legacies of the past
“Previous generations were often told to study hard, obtain a certificate and find a good job. That remains a legitimate ambition. But today’s world also needs people who can identify problems, create value, adapt to change, use technology intelligently and open opportunities for others. That is the journey from certificate to enterprise”. Dr, Julius Debrah emphasized.
