Anthony Joshua (28–4, 25 KOs) will face Jake Paul (12–1, 8 KOs) in an eight-round professional heavyweight bout at the Kaseya Center, with the fight streaming live on Netflix.
The matchup replaces Paul’s cancelled clash with Gervonta Davis and marks Joshua’s first U.S. appearance since 2019. Joshua, 36, enters the ring following a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois and subsequent elbow surgery.
Paul, 28, is riding momentum after defeating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Despite the vast experience gap, Paul has vowed to “put Britain’s Goliath to sleep.” Joshua’s camp insists the contest is a genuine fight, not an exhibition, with promoter Eddie Hearn predicting a two-round finish.
Purse rumours place the combined payout at over $185 million. The event’s undercard begins around 4 p.m. GMT.
