The Chief Executive Officer of Telecel Ghana, Ing. Petrecia Obonaai, has urged graduands of Palm University College to become change-makers and contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities as they transition into the world of work.

She made the call during the university’s graduation ceremony held at the school’s premises at Doryumu in the Shai Osudoku District.

Ing. Obonaai encouraged the graduands to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired to create positive change wherever they find themselves.

The graduation ceremony was held under the theme “The Quest to Educate Ethical and Excellent Leaders in Africa.”

She urged the graduands to uphold ethical values, excellence and integrity as they begin the next chapter of their professional lives.

The President and Founder of Palm University College, Mr Peter Carlos Okantey, also urged the graduands to remember that they are “Palmers” first, regardless of where their professional journey takes them.

He encouraged them to remain committed to the values and ethical principles instilled in them during their time at the institution and not lose sight of the standards they were trained to uphold.

Meanwhile, Reverend Professor Emmanuel Adow Obeng called on the graduands to uphold integrity and the ethical values they had been taught.

He further urged them to reject corruption and conduct themselves with honesty and accountability as they begin their professional and personal journeys.
