The Running Mate of the National Democratic Congress NDC, Professor Opoku Agyemang has advised Ghanaian youth particulary trainee students not to be swayed by government’s strategy induce them for votes
For her, the real intent of this government, which has been exposed by the neglect, abuse and manipulations is clear and attempts to release monies in the name of allowances after months of delays despite pleas and protests must serve as a reminder.
She said there was the need for young people to discern between genuine commitments and opportunistic rhetoric from politicians.
Professor Opoku Agyemang said these when she visited students of Essiama Nursing and Midwifery Training College as part of the second phase of her three-day campaign tour of the Western Region.
She assured the students of the NDC unrelenting dedication to the well-being of all Ghanaian students.
“Think about your future,” Prof. Opoku-Agyemang stated and urged all students to consider the long-term implications of the choices they make when they step into the voting booth on December 7.
“Reject those who offer money to you for votes, The NDC prioritizes sustainable development for your benefit.”
She indicated that the NDC vision for the youth of Ghana transcends mere promises.
The NDC Running mate assured that her party’s vision for the.youth is centered on actionable plans aimed at fostering advancements in education and professional training.
On his part, the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah urged nursing trainees to prioritize permanent employment over temporary allowances.
He reassured the students of NDC’s committment to supporting their educational and professional development.
Emmanuel Armah Buah who is also the deputy Minority Leader promised to deploy free internet access on the nursing training campus.
According to him, The initiative aims to enhance the students’ learning experience, providing them with unlimited access to educational resources and opportunities for growth.
He urged the students to vote massively for the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
