Ketu North MP boosts WASSCE prep with ICT and power support

The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, has equipped local Senior High Schools with laptops and standby power solutions to support final-year students ahead of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

Represented by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Rev. Martin Amenaki, the MP presented 50 laptops to Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School to strengthen their ICT practical training.

Weta Senior High School (WESTEC) and Wovenu Senior High Technical School (WOSSET) also received 10 laptops each, provided through the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC).

To ensure uninterrupted examination conditions, fully fueled standby generators were donated to all four Senior High Schools in the municipality.

Hon. Agbana urged candidates to pursue excellence, assuring that outstanding students will qualify for the Edem Agbana Scholarship Scheme for Tertiary Education.

The initiative, he said, reflects his commitment to creating equal learning opportunities and improving academic outcomes in Ketu North.
