Flag Bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is beginning a campaign tour of the Greater Accra region today.
The two-day tour, which constitutes Phase One of his engagements will take the NaDC Flag bearer to seven (7) constituencies
These include Ada, Sege, Ashaiman, Amasaman, Domeabra Obom, Trobu and the Anyaa Sowutoum constituencies.
On Tuesday morning, his team which includes Campaign Manager, Professor Joshua Alabi, former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah and regional executives of the party is billed to pay a courtesy call on Ada traditional authorities and address a mini durbar at Ada Kisseh
A statement signed by Special Aide, Joyce Bawa Mogtari said “Mr Mahama will also meet , community stakeholders, the youth, women groups, opinion leaders and other stakeholders in the informal sector of the economy”.
The statement added that the two-day #Mahama4Change2024 tour will afford the NDC leader the opportunity to “share his vision, proposals, policies,and programmes outlined in the NDC Resetting Ghana Manifesto”.
Other activities planned for the Tuesday campaign tour include Community engagement at Bonikope [Sege] and same Anyamam, interaction with Ashaiman Divisional Council of Chiefs and a rally at the Nii Amui Park [Ashaiman] before joining the GaDangme Homowo event scheduled to take place at the Kama Conference Centre, Labone, Accra.
This is the third region Mr Mahama is touring after campaigning in the Upper East and Volta regions.
