Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama will on Monday, August 12 2024, hist two events to mark International Youth Day.
A brief statement signed by his Campaign Spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari said the day’s activities will focus on the youth and Mahama’s commitment to addressing their challenges.
The statement issued today said the former President will first launch the NDC’s Youth Manifesto at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA).
This will be followed by a one-of-a-kind Mahama Youth Townhall Meeting at the Bukom Boxing Arena in the evening.
“These events will showcase his initiatives and policies to tackle youth unemployment, providing education, skills and digital training, entrepreneurship, and more.” the statement added.
Joyce Bawa Mogtari noted that Mr Mahama’s vision, which is a beacon of hope for Ghanaians, is centred on Building the Ghana we want together, through the creation of opportunities for the youth.
“As we approach the upcoming elections on 7th December, the NDC flag bearer is asking for your support and engagement. With your votes, Mahama and Naana Jane will drive the change that benefits all Ghanaians and creates a better future for the youth and our country.” It concluded
