CAF African Schools Football Championship – Ghana 2025.
CAF has confirmed that Ghana’s Asamoah Gyan and Côte d’Ivoire’s Clementine Toure will assist with the official draw for the CAF African Schools Football Championship on April 21 in Accra.

The continental finals will be hosted in Accra from April 23 to 26.
Other African legends expected at the draw include Abedi Pele, Adjoa Bayor, Robert Kidiaba, and Amanda Dlamini.

The U-15 Boys’ and Girls’ champions will receive $300,000 in prize money each for school development.

Participating Teams:

  • Girls: Ghana, Benin, DR Congo, South Africa, Uganda, Gambia, Malawi, Morocco
  • Boys: Ghana, Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, DR Congo, South Africa, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda

Ghana Premier League – Matchday 22
Fixtures for outstanding games on Matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League have been released.

BOXING: Nigerian Boxer’s Death
Sports Minister Kofi Adams says a seven-member committee has been set up to investigate the death of Nigerian boxer Gabriel Oluwasegun Olanrewaju.

 “Anyone found to have acted wrongly will face consequences. And we’ll make necessary changes to prevent a repeat.”

Michael Aggrey, a GOC Presidential Aspirant, has urged stakeholders to invest beyond football.

FIFA Club World Cup 2025 – African Referees Named
FIFA has named five top African referees for the expanded FIFA Club World Cup in the U.S. (June 14 – July 13):

  • Dahane Beida (Mauritania)
  • Mustapha Ghorbal (Algeria)
  • Ibrahim Mutaz (Libya)
  • Jean Jacques Ndala (DR Congo)
  • Issa Sy (Senegal)

They are part of a global team of 117 officials selected for the tournament.
