The President, John Dramani Mahama will this Friday, January 24, 2025 begin his nationwide Thank You Tour from the Volta Region.
The tour, according to a statement signed by the Minister designate for Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu,”will be welcomed with a grand durbar of Chiefs, Queenmothers, opinion
leaders, religious leaders, members of various labour unions, and key representatives
from the informal sector.
It said the tour will enable the President to express his appreciation to the people of Ghana for the overwhelming support and trust reposed in him.
President Mahama won the December 7, elections massively beating his closest contender, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party, NPP by over 1.6million votes.
