Hon. Samuel Nartey George, Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, has officially introduced Mr. Dzifa Gunu, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Digital Centres Limited, to the staff of the company.
The Minister also welcomed Ms. Christine Ansong, the Deputy CEO to the facility when he visited the centre on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
The introduction ceremony, which took place in the afternoon, marked the beginning of a new chapter for the organization.
As the CEO, Mr. Gunu will oversee the operations of Ghana Digital Centres Limited, which aims to create an enabling environment for digital innovation and entrepreneurship in Ghana’s technology ecosystem.
The organization manages and operates the Accra Digital Centre, a government-established ICT/BPO Centre that hosts tech firms and digital startups.
Under Mr. Gunu’s leadership, Ghana Digital Centres Limited is expected to continue its mission to provide the necessary infrastructure and services to facilitate the growth of the ICT/ITES sector.
The organization’s vision is to position Ghana as a regional digital hub, enabling the country to transition into a knowledge-based economy.
The introduction of the new CEO and Deputy CEO is seen as a significant step towards achieving this vision of the President of the Republic, H.E John Mahama, who established the centre.
With their expertise and leadership, Ghana Digital Centres Limited is poised to play a crucial role in driving digital innovation and entrepreneurship in Ghana.
