Agradaa’s brother denies evicting Angel Asiamah from family house

The brother of convicted evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has denied reports that he forcibly evicted Agradaa’s husband, Angel Asiamah, from the couple’s home following her recent 15-year prison sentence.

Speculation had circulated online, particularly through bloggers and social media platforms, claiming that Agradaa’s brother identified only as “One Gig” had changed the locks to the family residence and ordered Asiamah out shortly after the sentencing.

The move was allegedly linked to internal family tensions.

However, in a statement made through Agradaa’s legal team, the family firmly denied the claims, describing them as “unfounded rumours”.

“I have not received any such information officially,” Agradaa’s lawyer told Adom FM in an interview on July 4. “I intend to speak to Mr. Asiamah personally and then proceed to visit my client [Agradaa] in custody. For now, these reports remain speculative.”

The lawyer also clarified that there has been no formal complaint or confirmed action indicating that Asiamah has been removed from the property.

Nana Agradaa was sentenced to 15 years in prison by an Accra Circuit Court on July 3 for engaging in charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence, tied to her widely publicized “money doubling” scheme.

The verdict has generated significant public and media attention, with heightened scrutiny now focused on the activities of her immediate family and her church following the conviction.

Agradaa’s legal team has denied claims that she evicted Angel Asiamah from her home, but the issue remains in public discourse.

Angel Asiamah has yet to issue an official statement, leaving her side of the story pending.

The situation continues to draw attention as family dynamics come under scrutiny following Agradaa’s conviction.

Her lawyer is expected to release a follow-up statement after consulting with both parties.
