K. Zigfred Acquah, founder of campus bite Gh and former local NUGS UCC President, speaks at leadership summit

K. Zigfred Acquah, Founder of Campus Bite GH and former President of the Local National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), today served as Guest Speaker at the Local NUGS UCC Annual Leadership Summit. The programme was organised to equip newly elected and appointed executives with essential leadership skills to enable them to serve effectively.

In his presentation, Mr. Acquah highlighted the key principles every NUGS appointee must understand about leadership, including responsibility, integrity, teamwork, accountability and effective communication.

He also shared his personal leadership journey, reflecting on both successes and mistakes, to help guide the new leaders toward building a more effective and impactful Local NUGS in the coming academic year.

Mr. Acquah further explained the mandate, duties and relevance of Local NUGS, emphasising its critical relationship with the SRC and its significant role in promoting student welfare, advocacy and governance on campus.

His message was described as impactful and practical, with executives in attendance commending him for his depth of insight and honest, experience-based leadership advice.
